THE TOOL SHELF

Useful work,
minus the friction.

Pick a tool and work with your files right here. Heavy processing depends on your browser and device, so we show the real format and result.

TOOL WORKSPACE

Choose a tool to begin.

Your selected file stays in this browser tab. Close the page to clear temporary working data.

NO GUESSWORK

Simple steps.
Honest results.

VidSnapX is designed for everyday file tasks. We tell you what happens locally, what your browser can handle, and when a link is outside the tool's reach.

    Choose your tool

Start with a direct media URL, or select a file tool from the shelf.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few clear answers.

Can I download from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube?

Not reliably through a static browser-only site. VidSnapX accepts direct public media file URLs when the browser can fetch them. Social platforms may block downloads, require sign-in, or restrict cross-origin access. This site does not bypass those protections.

Are my files uploaded to your server?

Files selected for local tools are processed in your browser and are not sent to VidSnapX. When you open a PDF, QR, or MP3 tool, its library may load from a third-party content delivery network. The CDN may receive standard connection information such as your IP address. See the Privacy Policy.

Will PDF to Word look exactly like my PDF?

No. It extracts selectable text and builds a simple editable DOCX. It does not preserve the original layout, embedded images, or exact typography. Scanned PDFs may need OCR before text can be extracted.

Why did a video conversion stop?

Browser codec support varies by device. Video compression can only export the recording format your browser supports, typically WebM. Long or large videos may exceed available memory or processing limits.
